Byron Bay Visitor Centre
The Byron Visitor Centre operates from the historic Stationmasters Cottage in the middle of Byron Bay. It is open seven days a week. You can talk to someone in the visitor center on

As well as information about Byron Bay and near by areas, the Visitor Centre offers:
- Free maps of Byron Bay and the local surrounds - Suffolk Park, Bangalow, Brunswick Heads and Ocean Shores
- Other free maps of various NSW towns
They can also provide free brochures of local businesses, including:
- local accommodation
- campsites
- tours
- transport
- bars and restaurants
- shops
Activity booking service, including:
- Air: gliding, hot-air ballooning, joy flights, helicopter rides, hang-gliding, skydiving
- Water: surfing, whale watching, sea kayaking, river kayaking, sailing, fishing
- Dry land: horse riding, motorcycle tours, Nimbin tours, rainforest walks, bush walking, sunrise tours at Cape Byron, lighthouse tours, Mt Warning tours
