The villa and pool have panoramic views to Byron, the sea and the lighthouse, and with the binoculars you can see if the surfs worth a visit !
It also affords stunning views to the mountains with glorious sunrises and sunsets.
The house is truly 5 plus stars . Araucaria is owned by an interior designer and her interiors photographer husband; accordingly the decor is one of comfortable sophistication and refinement. Araucaria has a southern Mediterranean design, with a definite Tuscan feel.
There is a stunning sunny country kitchen and large informal kitchen eating area with comfortable lounges. There are 5 bedrooms, 3 with ensuites, and a total of 4 bathrooms and a powder room, all with marble finishes.
The Luxury Double bedroom, with Laura Ashley furnishings is air conditioned and has disabled facilities plus a balcony. The Superior Queen bedroom has north facing french door overlooking the north terrace. The Luxury Pool House has it s own marble ensuite and fantastic views to Cape Byron. There is a large Mediterranean style terrace, with a variety of sitting and eating areas where you can take in some great views of Byron Bay.
The rather grand formal lounge is very comfortable and has a large open fire place.
